Computer Express commenced business in 1998 as a PC and Computer Parts dealers, challenging the established retail market with down-to-earth pricing and dedicated 24x7 service. Initially, the firm commenced business as appointed dealers for Genius PC component s and clone PC’s from the US, but in 1999 we began integrating PC’s under our own label and in a short time we had achieved an excellent reputation with the CompEx line of built to order systems. This is the only own label PC in Zambia and to date we have built over 4000 PC’s tailor built for the small and medium size enterprises.

 In July 2000, Computer Express moved into extremely spacious premises at Carousel Centre along Lumumba Road (near the Kafue Road junction).  A showroom/sales counter offers the customer unrivalled product availability and choice and while-u-wait service is available from the service center.

Currently, the Computer Express team has expanded to twenty, including technicians and administrative support.  Call-out Services for network installations and on-site service and maintenance is also available and success in this field had led us to the assembly of Intel Based Servers for small and medium businesses.

 In 2003, at the request of our customers impressed with our service, we entered the brand name PC market. With HP, Acer and the like already established, we saw an opening for Dell PC’s and two years down the line we have become the leading desktop solution providers for those seeking the Dell image.

 Having built up good relationship with distributors in USA, RSA and the UAE, the firm is in a position to procure almost any component to fulfill the needs of our customers, at very competitive pricing.

 For the small/medium business or institution, we are your IT department. We will strive to get our technicians to your site urgently in the event of an IT problem and we will get your systems up and  running as soon as possible.  We will also advise and assist where in-house IT knowledge is lacking.
